I just have to comment that Google has done two things, Google embarked upon the “landmark deal with Fox” that will really allow for the building of a more cohesive and comprehensive online experience for the user community and also gave Google access to MySpace as well as dozens of other online sites that will work seamlessly and naturally with YouTube. I recommend listening to the Google acquires YouTube webcast. (investors.google.com)

It is not a mystery what the intention of Google is; it is to deliver more searchable content and a better advertising platform for advertisers. We don’t have to guess at what is going to happen in the future with Google, MySpace, YouTube. I don’t believe that the user community is threatened by these mergers either.

Google is definitely smart enough to realize that the user community is their richest resource for new and exciting content. They will find ways of monetizing through advertising that will be subtle and effective for the advertisers and still provide and constantly deliver better technologies to the online user community in the forms of search, advertising and now also by enhancing the user communities.
